Bookkeeping - Monthly or Quarterly
SITUATION: Once your books are set up and running correctly, I can perform ongoing monthly bookkeeping for you.
SOLUTION: With our experience and knowledge of the most up-to-date technology we can assist you to automate your bookkeeping processes, many of our small business clients have eliminated the need for an in-house bookkeeper. You can spend your time taking care of your business, and we will take care of the books.
BUSINESS CONSULTING
SITUATION: You found us while looking for a QuickBooks Solution and may also find that you need support with many of your other back office accounting functions.
SOLUTION: We provide monthly or quarterly consulting services. From running your payroll in QuickBooks or other 3rd party payroll service, to filing of sales tax, payroll tax, business property tax statements, or setting up your estimated tax payments. If small business requires it, we’ve seen it and can help you with it or manage it for you.
RATES
Quickbooks Consulting
In-person appointment pricing - $240/hr
two hour minimum, billed in ¼ hour increments thereafter, plus trip charge where applicable*
Telephone/web-conference pricing - $240/hr
no minimum, no trip charge, ¼ hour increments
*Trip charge is $230.00 applied to San Francisco/Hayward/San Jose, and other locations where significant travel during peak commute is involved. Amanda will notify you in advance if the trip charge applies.

About Amanda Douglass
I grew up in the Bay Area working as an office manager and bookkeeper for technology start-ups. During that time I acquired a greater understanding and love for technology. It was at one of these startups that I taught myself to use QuickBooks. Since then I've become Advanced Certified in all of Intuit QuickBooks desktop and online products.
I've been using Quickbooks since 2001 and supporting small business owners since 2006. In that time I have come to know precisely what most small business owners need related to their accounting, their time and efficiency.
My whole practice centers around being able to listen to clients needs and offer a custom solution that allows them to get back to doing what they love.
In 2005, working as the Director of Finance to a local Non-Profit utilizing QuickBooks, I met and began to work with a local CPA. Together, we determined we had great synergy and would make a great consulting team. Since then, we have assisted hundreds of clients to set up, clean up and effectively run their back office accounting with ease and efficiency. Since then I have come to work with many CPA's and Enrolled agents that add to the expertise of my firm. These professionals will often assist to answer the confusing tax related questions required to produce accurate and timely tax returns.
